20th May 2006 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: 20-30 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 13ºC Sea Temperature: 11ºC Weather: Rain Max Speed: Distance Covered: Impi turned up and persuaded me out, so despite the pouring rain I kitted up and walked across to the beach with my 5m and little wave board as the wind was around 25-30 knots. On the water I was well powered up and going fine, but the wind was easing all the time. we had an hour or so if decent winds though and had fun in the waves and onshore winds with plenty of jumps and wave-riding possibe. The wind then dropped off to around 15 knots and swung NW, then stayed that way for the rest of the day, giving the kiters perfect conditions and sunshine to play in. |
